And Democrats continue to fight to deliver a higher tax credit that gives relief to working families with children.
Better Paying Jobs
Democrats are laser focused on growing the middle class by creating better paying jobs. From the depths of the pandemic, the American Rescue Plan unleashed record job creation. Through the CHIPS and Science Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, and the Infrastructure Law, Democrats are revitalizing American manufacturing, developing clean, secure American energy, and rebuilding our roads, bridges, and transit systems while bringing broadband and clean drinking water to more communities.
Safer Communities
Every American deserves to live in a safe community where they and their family can thrive. Democrats are funding our police, giving them the tools they need to prevent crime while making reforms for better law enforcement training and accountability. And Democrats have passed gun violence prevention legislation to expand background checks, close loopholes that let dangerous people get guns, and keep our children safe.
