DPCC Co-Chair Ted Lieu Appeared on MSNBC
(Washington, DC) – Congressman Ted Lieu (CA-33), Co-Chair of the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee (DPCC), appeared on The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC Thursday evening ahead of Republicans in the U.S. Senate voting on Friday to block an independent, bipartisan, 9/11-style commission from examining and reporting on the facts, causes and security relating to the terrorist mob attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6th. Lieu emphasized the troubling lack of concern by Washington Republicans regarding the importance of safeguarding our Democracy.
"I don't know why people don't want to find out the truth about January 6th. It's something all Americans should care about because we need to make sure something like this never happens again," said Lieu.
