HOUSE DEMS DELIVER 1,000+ INFRASTRUCTURE EVENTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

House Democrats Barnstorm the Country Promoting Jobs & Investments Coming to Local Communities,
Dominating Local Headlines

(Washington, DC) – House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee (DPCC) Co-Chairs Matt Cartwright (PA-08), Debbie Dingell (MI-12), Ted Lieu (CA-33) and Joe Neguse (CO-02) announced today that House Democrats have held more than 1,000 events across the country promoting the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. House Democrats have been barnstorming the country since passing the law in November, dominating local news coverage.

"Under the leadership of President Biden and Speaker Pelosi, Democrats are delivering American jobs, roads, bridges, broadband, clean water and so much more. The more than 1,000 events House Democrats have hosted already underscore just how important these infrastructure investments are for local communities and local economies across the country," the Cochairs said. "These more than 1,000 reminders that Democrats delivered on infrastructure also serve to point out that 200 House Republicans voted against jobs, roads, bridges, broadband, clean water and more for their communities – and they owe the country an explanation."
