DPCC Co-Chair Dingell: More Bipartisanship, Less Division

April 12, 2019

WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, Co-Chair of the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee (DPCC), appeared on Outnumbered Overtime With Harris Faulkner on FOX News to discuss how Democrats are fighting For the People. Dingell argued for more bipartisanship and less division. Dingell highlighted how Democrats are working to lower prescription drug prices, provide more access to quality and affordable health care and make sure the playing field is level for American workers. Below are excerpts from the interview. Click here to watch the video

"I am focused on working on an agenda For the People and that Republicans and Democrats need to worry about delivering for the American people on prescription drugs, infrastructure, etc. I think we spend a lot of energy on something that is very unlikely to happen."

"We are focused on reducing prescription drug prices, and that's what we need to be focused on. I'm focused on trade, and we need a level playing field for our workers. That's what we need to do, deliver for the people we work for."

"The majority of people are tired of this. The biggest problem now is the tone at times of the rhetoric and the division. They want to see us work together so that we lower the cost of their insulin. They want to see us work together so that we get rid of those pot holes in the road."
