WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, Co-Chair of the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee (DPCC), appeared on MediaBuzz on FOX News to discuss how the House DPCC is encouraging more Democrats to appear on FOX News. Co-Chair Dingell emphasized that Democrats are fighting for all Americans and should be talking to all Americans on every cable news network. Below are excerpts from the interview. "I have done FOX long before I was a Member of Congress, and I think it is really important, as a Member of Congress you talk to everybody and you listen to everybody. You may have some disagreements with people, people may have a different viewpoint from you but, if you are going to be effective, you have got to the hear different perspectives and you have to give your perspective."

"I've always believed you talk to everybody, and you listen to everybody, that's part of the problem of what's happening right now, we aren't listening to each other enough."

"We did tell people that the fact of the matter is that of the cable news programs more people are watching you, so why should you just be not appearing on that? … You know the Democratic Caucus has a large number of different Members, different backgrounds, different states … we have been encouraging people to come on FOX, not to boycott. I certainly, as you know, I have done FOX for a long time, doesn't mean I haven't had a bad interview but by the way I have had bad interviews on other shows. You do homework and you prep so we did do media training, for Members on Friday, but that media training, by the way, can also be helpful on other network news other programs. I hate to remind FOX but the fact of the matter is that the major network stations are getting more viewers than anybody."
