"First, I must say that there is an ongoing effort by my Republican colleagues to undermine the integrity of this investigation. Let's start with the facts, Robert Muller is respected by everyone, Republican and Democrat alike."

"Robert Muller is a career prosecutor and was confirmed unanimously as the FBI Director. Robert Muller and his team are professionals who take an oath to the constitution. If they show any partisanship, any bias, or any favoritism they are subject to not only removal from the case, they are subjected to losing their license to practice law. This is a set of extraordinary professionals who risk their lives defending the American people and to keep us safe all over the world. There are rules in place that prohibit prosecutors from departing from the oath they took. Prosecutors are required to set aside their political views and ideology. Robert Muller has assembled an extraordinary team of professionals who are doing their job and risk their lives to keep America safe."
