WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman David Cicilline, Co-Chair of the House Democratic Policy & Communications Committee (DPCC), appeared on CNN Newsroom With Brooke Baldwin to discuss the Justice Department's IG report and the Mueller investigation. While President Trump and Washington Republicans are consumed by creating crisis, conflict and confusion, Democrats are focused on delivering better jobs, better wages and a better future for all Americans. "We've gone now another week where we are consumed by investigations, scandals and corruption in the White House. And it means we're not getting the work done for the American people. You know what my constituents want? They want to know what is Congress doing to drive down the cost of health care, to make drugs more affordable? [They want to know] when is Congress going to put together a bipartisan build to rebuild our country: our roads, our bridges, our ports? Those are the issues people are worried about: creating good paying jobs, raising family incomes, reducing the cost in people's lives and making sure folks are prepared with the jobs skills they need for the 21st century. Every week that we're consumed by conflicts, investigations and the President's obsession with Robert Mueller means we're not getting the work done for the American people."
