(Washington, DC) – Congressman Matt Cartwright (PA-08), Co-Chair of the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee (DPCC), appeared on America's News HQ on FOX News Sunday to discuss the urgent need for COVID relief.
"Our Nation is at a crisis point. The scientists, the virologists, the epidemiologists are making it very clear: we are in a race against time right now because these viruses are mutating. By the end of the summer, we have a chance to pull out of this and pull our economy out of the doldrums and really skyrocket growth in this country. But we can't fool around with this virus. Fauci said yesterday we have to ramp up production. We have to make sure these 200 million people get vaccinated ASAP. Let's not slow that process down to fight about the niceties. We have to push these things out. I really love that President Biden is ramping it up with the activation of the Defense Production Act and getting FEMA money to the state National Guards to set up vaccination sites. This is a national priority. We shouldn't be fighting over the particulars." said Cartwright
